Big News...

Drumroll....

The Harmons are moving to Tacoma!

That's right! Chase has accepted a job with Young Life that brings us closer to family and friends. He will be the new Young Life Tacoma College Director overseeing schools at Pacific Lutheran University, University of Puget Sound, and UW Tacoma! We are excited to walk alongside young adults during such a pivotal period of curiosity and development... but more on that later!

During our two years with Mukilteo Young Life; we have felt the call to be further south- more where our relational "center of gravity" seems to be. One of the things we learned during our time abroad was how deeply we long for our kids to have roots, to know "where they come from." We've prayed long and hard about where that could be, and through it all there has been one place that we have felt called to--Tacoma. And so, we are taking this opportunity with all our faith and gusto--we hope to buy a house and root our family in the Tacoma community (which already includes family and old friends).

As mentioned before, we are off to Malibu for the rest of July! Then back to Mukilteo to pack up and start the move!

Our goal in August is to reach out to all our financial partners and explain in more detail our exciting transition. Until then, be praying for our three-week assignment at Malibu and finding the right home (preferably blue, red, or yellow per Sam's request)!
